ACCB celebrates the World Environment Day (5th June 2009)

2009-06-08: For the first time, the ACCB's environmental education team celebrated the World Environment Day with local pupils and teachers who are active in ACCB’s eco-club. The half-day event started with two speeches about the importance of the environment by the ACCB project manager and local school teachers. Subsequently, an environmental movie was shown followed by an endangered species identification game. After the mid-morning break the kids played a game to learn more about habitat loss and its impact on ecosystems. As final activity there was a drawing competition with environmental themes. The winners received small prizes and to conclude the celebration all the participants had a joint lunch.
